The Georgia Justice Project is governed by a strong Board of Directors who bring unique knowledge and skills to the organization.
An Advisory Board complements the governing Board in order to advance the strategic goals of the organization. They do not have the authority to govern the organization (issue directives that must be followed), rather; they make recommendations and/or provide key information, resources and access to the Board of Directors and staff.
A Macon Advisory Committee complements the governing Board in expanding our presence in the Macon community.
The GJP Staff is led by Executive Director, Doug Ammar, and comprises attorneys, social workers, and support staff who operate the organization’s programs.
