Event Sponsorship Opportunities

This wonderful annual event provides sponsors with a unique opportunity to promote community, good health, and educational success for at-risk children and their families.  It’s also a good way to see first-hand the great work of the Georgia Justice Project.  Make plans to join us!  Contact Shannon DeMyers (404) 827-0027 ext 215 to reserve a booth!

There are 4 Ways to Help

1.   Sponsor a Booth and We’ll Stock It
 
This is the most straightforward approach.  There are 14 booths.  Choose one you’d like to have your name associated with, and write GJP a check for sponsorship.  We’ll do the rest:  get the supplies, find the volunteers, and run the booth.  (You’d be WELCOME to volunteer, too!)

Sponsorships:  $750-$1000 (see attached list of booths)

2.  Sponsor AND Stock the Booth

This is more fun!  Choose one of the booths.  Write GJP a check for sponsorship, and we’ll provide the tables and tents.  You provide the supplies the booth needs and the folks to help make it happen!  (Note:  Not all booths qualify for this sponsorship, so act fast!)

Sponsorships:  $500 - $750 (see list of booths below)

3. Sponsor Backpacks

We provide a fully-stocked, age-appropriate back-pack for each child who registers to attend this event.  That’s about 200 backpacks!  Be a backpack sponsor and help us ensure that each child gets what they need for a successful start to school.  We’ll include your name at our Backpack Booth!

Sponsorships:  $250 pays for 10 backpacks; $500 pays for 20 backpacks

4.  Host a Backpack Drive at Your Office

Engage your colleagues in collecting backpacks and supplies at your office!  No cash involved – just backpacks!  Commit to a number you will collect, and we’ll send you the list of school-approved supplies. 

All sponsorships will be recognized on-site and in our print materials.  Thank you for supporting our clients and their children!

Available Booths for Sponsorship

Games and Fun

Moonbounce (2 available)
Help the kids get their ya-yas out!  We provide an inflatable bouncing castle/slide/thing-a-ma-jig, and the kids can jump to their heart’s content! 

Sponsorship:  $750 each

Arts and Crafts (2 available)
Face painting, bookmarks, masks…this is a great spot to get creative and interact with the children!

Sponsorship:  $750 – you stock it, $1000 – we stock it

Plant a Pot (1 available)
The guys from our landscaping crew will help kids plant a flower to brighten up their homes. 

Sponsorship:  $1000

Cookie Walk (1 available)
Like an old-fashioned Cake Walk, but with prizes that won’t melt!

Sponsorship:  $500 – you stock it, $750 – we stock it

Games (1 available)
Think field-day.  Roving magicians, duck pond, bean-bag toss, obstacle course….you name it!  Fun for kids of all ages.

Sponsorship:  $750 – you stock it, $1000 – we stock it

Martial Arts (1 available)
A professional instructor will provide on-site lessons – a great discipline for kids to learn.

Sponsorship:  $750

Health

Dental Care (1 available)
The dentist from the Whitefoord Clinic will be on hand to provide screenings for kids and adults.  We’ll supply kits with toothpaste and brush for kids to take home.

Sponsorship:  $500

Hearing and Vision (COMMITTED)
Volunteers from Lion’s Club Lighthouse will provide free hearing and vision screenings for kids – making sure they’re ready to learn!

Body Care (1 available)
Nurses from Genesis Shelter will be available to provide health information and answer questions.  In addition, their clinic will be open (at the shelter – across the street from the venue) during the event hours.

Haircuts (1 available)
We’ll have barbers available to give the boys free haircuts.  They’ll be all set for school.

Food

Boxed Lunches (COMMITTED)
The good folks at Chick-Fil-A have already agreed to provide boxed lunches for all.  Thanks, Chick-Fil-A!

Food and Drink (1 available)
We think we may have some teenagers to feed – so we plan to serve hotdogs to go with our Chick-Fil-A sandwiches!  And this will be where you’ll find the drinks.

Snowcones, Popcorn, and Cotton Candy (2 Available – 1 Committed)
No event would be complete without fun festival food!  Thank you, Alston & Bird!

Dining Area (1 available)
Where everyone will come to take a load off, eat their lunch, and watch the kids play.  We’ll have storytellers to entertain the diners!
