__''The Georgia State University School of Law Criminal Justice Clinic''__ will open at GJP this Fall under the direction of GSU law professor Clark Cunningham. Six law students will spend 12 hours each week leanring the practice of criminal law and defending GJP clients.
__''Did you know that when a child, age 13 to 16,''__ is charge with one of seven crimes, he or she must be tried as an adult? Would it surprise you that almost 4,000juveniles arrested over an eight year period for these offenses, 80% were minorities? GJP and the Youth Task Force have received a grant to serve these children and give back appropriate discretion to juvenile judges so that these children can receive the services they need to move in a positive direction.
