Support GJP
Georgia Justice Project relies on support from private citizens, foundations, corporations, and religious congregations and receives no government grants. Over the past few years, GJP has worked very hard to develop our fundraising program and to garner increased community support to fund the organization.
Support of GJP reduces crime and victimization in our community by helping individuals make positive changes in their lives. Georgia Justice Project is a 501(c)(3) and all contributions are tax-deductible.

GJP Funding
GJP receives no government grants. Instead, private foundations, corporations, individuals, and religious congregations fund GJP. As funds for indigent defense have diminished, GJP has worked harder than ever to expand its resources and ability to serve those in need. GJP’s staff expansion and building campaign over the last few years have had a significant impact on both its ability to offer quality comprehensive services and its ability to represent more clients. In 1998, GJP worked with 138 clients. That number had increased to almost 200 by 2000. In 2005 GJP served over 300 clients.
Georgia Justice Project feels strongly that in order to provide adequate legal defense for its clients, it must remain outside of the "system". Because Georgia Justice Project receives no government money, it is highly dependent on donations to provide the capital for day-to-day operations.
Without these donations, Georgia Justice Project could not provide the vital service it does. GJP is a 501(c)(3), all donations are tax-deductible.
GJP can also always use time donated by people with business and legal knowledge. New Horizon Landscaping is trying to build a customer base and maintain quality service, so someone with knowledge about helping a small business grow is always welcome.
Some immediate capital needs are listed below:
Lawn Equipment
NHL is always in need of high-quality weedeaters, hedgers, lawn mowers (especially commercial), rakes, shovels, blowers, or anything else that might help.
Education Needs
GED/literacy software & materials and expansion of law library research materials.
