Led by Honorary Chair, Larry D. Thompson, Campaign Co-Chairs H. Lamar “Mickey” Mixson and Ellen Brown Landers, and a strong committee of civic volunteers, Georgia Justice Project’s 25th Anniversary Campaign: Strengthen, Grow, Advocate, Inspire is underway. The campaign leadership, together with the Board of Directors, has committed $500,000 toward a total raised or anticipated of $3.3M. The campaign funds the organization’s strategic plan and seeks two types of investments:
- Targeted gifts that help strengthen particular areas of GJP for the long term – including Capital (technology and other), Replication, Policy, Volunteer Engagement, Macon Office, and Reserves.
- Multi-year commitments to the operating fund to propel oru work and help build critical capacity.
