Recap: Second Chance Day 2019

To unite stakeholders and community voices around expanding expungement (record restriction and sealing), we hosted Second Chance Day at the Capitol: Expanding Expungement of Convictions in Georgia on February 5, 2019. Over 130 attendees gathered to share personal stories about the barriers of a record, discuss the need for reform with prosecutors and employers, and raise awareness of the issue with state legislators.
