Metro Reentry Facility Pro Bono Clinic

Metro Reentry Facility Pro Bono Clinic

Since the summer of 2018, Georgia Justice Project (GJP) has partnered with Metro Reentry Facility, a new prison in Atlanta, to provide legal services for returning citizens to remove the most significant barriers to employment in order to support successful reentry. Metro Reentry Facility’s model for reentry services uses holistic programs and community collaboration to address barriers for participants’ successful reentry back into society. In partnership with the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Northern Georgia and various Atlanta law firms (including Alston & Bird, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough and King & Spalding), GJP is launching a pro bono project to provide a holistic approach to legal clinics at the prison. GJP has upcoming volunteer opportunities with our Metro Reentry efforts for attorneys.
