Fulton County held their second Record Restriction Summit on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. GJP staff assisted in the organization and facilitation of the event, including a Q & A session lead by our Executive Director, Doug Ammar.
“‘A conservative estimate is 300 thousand people in this county have a record,” said Doug Ammar of the Georgia Justice Project. “That’s a conservative estimate.”
Of that 300 thousand, Ammar said the majority have something on their record that can be cleared.
