GJP receives recognition award from Global Alliance for Behavioral Health and Social Justice
GJP was recently honored with the Recognition Award from the Global Alliance of Behavioral and Social Justice for supporting individuals in the criminal justice system and reducing barriers to re-entry. The Global Alliance recognizes individuals and organizations who advocate for populations who are vulnerable or marginalized by policies, practices, attitudes, and institutional structures. More details on the recipients of this year’s award can be found here.
GJP is honored by this recognition and appreciates the Global Alliance highlighting these issues. GJP has served low income residents in Atlanta who are involved in the criminal justice system for over 30 years. We believe in a holistic approach to defending low-income Georgians accused of a crime paired with social service support, and we are dedicated to second chances for individuals following an arrest. GJP’s current range of services include legal representation, social service support, education and legislative advocacy.
