|The kids are ready for school! Thank you for making our Back to School Initiative a success!|
|Georgia Justice Project’s (GJP) 2019 Back to School Initiative was bigger and better than ever, and we couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our donors and volunteers!|
Education is a vital part of lifting families out of poverty and paving a bright future for their children. The Back to School Initiative is an important way for GJP staff to stay connected with our clients and ensure their children have the tools they need to succeed at school. Your donations of backpacks, school supplies, cash, food, and time made this endeavor possible! This year, we were able to provide over 300 backpacks stuffed with all required school supplies for our client families.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all of our individual donors and volunteers, as well as to the following sponsors: Alston & Bird, The Mary Alice and Bennett Brown Foundation, The Home Depot, UPS, King & Spalding, Georgia-Pacific Foundation, The Coca-Cola Company, Troutman Sanders, Parker Poe, Chick-fil-A, the Kiwanis Foundation, Central Presbyterian Church, and the Atlanta Woman’s Club. Thank you for making this event possible!
