FEBRUARY 26, 2019
On February 26, 2019, Georgia Justice Project (GJP) will lead a coalition of groups in hosting Justice Day at the Capitol, a day to promote criminal justice reform. This is the eight year that GJP has organized an advocacy day at the State Capitol, and the third time that GJP has partnered with other organizations.
Join advocates, directly impacted individuals and their family members, and concerned citizens from around the state to promote criminal justice reform. You will have the opportunity to connect with other people who care about these issues, share your experience with your legislators, and hear from leaders in the reform movement.
With 34 sponsoring organizations and over 450 expected participants, Justice Day 2018 was the largest in the event’s history. Georgians from across the state have registered for the event, with large contingents from Metro Atlanta, Columbus, and Albany.
