2019 Summer Intern Reflection – Whitney Westbrook
Posted On in Intern Stories

I’ll start this reflection with the classic, “where do I begin?”  Because it’s true.  As you all are probably well aware of by now, I have lots of energy.  In my freshman year at college, I crafted a lifestyle for myself where I ran two to three times a day, and even though I had internships and class, I was never in the same place for more than four hours.  Needless to say, I was terrified of having a 9-5 … read more 2019 Summer Intern Reflection – Whitney Westbrook

GJP, as part of the broader movement, is transforming. GJP’s office is located on the same block as the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and Martin Luther King Jr.’s grave; a full kitchen sits in the … read more 2019 Summer Intern Reflection – Aaron Voldman

Georgia Justice Project (GJP) made rounds in local news last week! Check out the stories below to learn more about the work on expungement issues that GJP is doing throughout Georgia. 11 Alive reporter and GJP volunteer attorney, Bill Liss, covered a story last week about GJP’s involvement in the Opportunity ATL Job Fair and expungement event hosted by the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. This was the first multi-county expungement event in Georgia. The event was the latest iteration … read more GJP Featured on 11Alive and Fox 5 Atlanta
