Information about the bills GJP is advocating for in the 2025 legislative session is below.
Have an arrest or conviction record? Having a record shouldn’t stop you from having a voice and advocating for change. You never lose your ability to vote over a misdemeanor or a successful First Offender Act or Conditional Discharge felony sentence, and for felony convictions, your right to vote is automatically restored when your sentence is complete – you just need to re-register. For more information about voting rights, go to GJP.org/voting.
