Intern Stories, Featured, Blog
Georgia Justice Project (GJP) was thrilled to host another group of stellar undergraduate and law student interns this summer. Over the past two months, these individuals have immersed themselves in our mission to serve Georgians impacted by the criminal justice system, and learned firsthand the great need for our services. Our summer interns supported GJP attorneys in their casework, conducted research beneficial to our policy work, helped plan and kickoff our annual Back-to-School Drive, and helped our intake team field a growing number of calls for services. We appreciate each of these individuals for choosing GJP as their internship placement this summer, and for all the great work they’ve done for GJP, even in a short two months.
Every year, we ask our interns to reflect on their time at GJP; what they’ve learned, what has challenged them, and the experiences they’ve had that will stick with them. You can read our intern’s reflections by visiting the links below!
